What's Covered — By Surface Type

This Limited Warranty is issued by Ozarks Concrete Coatings to the original consumer purchaser of epoxy floor coating systems installed by Ozarks Concrete Coatings. Coverage varies by surface type and is detailed below.

Residential Garages
Up to 5,000 sq ft
  • Peeling / Delamination — covered for as long as the original purchaser owns the home
  • Staining from incidental spills of oil, transmission fluid, radiator fluid, gasoline, and diesel — covered if removed within 20 minutes, for 10 years from installation

Commercial / Industrial
Up to 10,000 sq ft
  • Peeling / Delamination — covered for 10 years from date of substantial completion
  • Staining from incidental spills of oil, transmission fluid, radiator fluid, gasoline, and diesel — covered if removed within 20 minutes, for 10 years

Exterior Surfaces
Up to 5,000 sq ft
  • Peeling / Delamination — covered for 3 years from date of substantial completion
  • Staining from incidental spills of oil, transmission fluid, radiator fluid, gasoline, and diesel — covered if removed within 20 minutes, for 3 years

Important — Who Is Covered

This Warranty applies only to the original retail purchaser of the epoxy floor coating system and is non-transferable. The Warranty terminates upon sale, transfer, or change of ownership of the property. All warranties begin on the date of installation.

What Is Covered

Covered Failures

This Warranty Covers Coating Failures Due Solely to Product Failure
  • Delamination or peeling
  • Tire peel or tire bleed
  • Cracking of the coating not caused by cracking of the concrete substrate
⚠️ Cracks in the coating that result from cracking, settling, or movement of the concrete substrate are not considered a coating failure and are not covered.
What Ozarks Concrete Coatings Will Do

If a covered failure occurs during the applicable warranty period, Ozarks Concrete Coatings will, at its option:

  • Repair the affected area, or
  • Replace the affected portion of the floor
If the issue cannot be corrected after a reasonable number of attempts, Ozarks Concrete Coatings may refund the portion of the original purchase price attributable to the failed area.
This Warranty Does NOT Include
  • Removal or replacement of cabinets
  • Removal or replacement of personal property
  • Removal or replacement of fixtures
Ozarks Concrete Coatings reserves the right to inspect all warranty claims and remove samples for technical analysis. The local installer is responsible for installation and workmanship issues.
What Is Not Covered

Exclusions

This Warranty Does Not Cover Damage Caused By
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Improper repairs or alterations by anyone other than Ozarks Concrete Coatings
  • Abuse, misuse, neglect, or accidents
  • Fire, flooding, or Acts of God
  • Extreme temperatures
  • Battery acid, brake fluid, or industrial chemicals
  • Cracking, settling, or movement of the concrete substrate
  • Hydrostatic pressure or moisture vapor transmission exceeding 12 lbs
  • Subfloor moisture, water intrusion, pressure washing, or plumbing leaks
  • Scratches, abrasions, gloss reduction, or surface marks
  • Color, shade, or texture variations
  • UV exposure or age-related color changes
  • Installation defects or violations of applicable building codes
  • Floors installed in non-owner-occupied residences
Customer Responsibilities

To maintain warranty coverage, the customer must:

  • Avoid dragging or sliding heavy objects across the floor
  • Use care when moving appliances or equipment
  • Keep the floor free of debris and abrasives
  • Perform light cleaning at least bi-weekly, especially in high-traffic areas
  • Perform additional cleanings if excessive debris is present
⚠️ Failure to properly maintain the floor may void this Warranty.

Routine Care

Maintenance & Care

After Installation

After the floor has cured for at least 24 hours, it may be cleaned with water and standard household cleaners. Rinse thoroughly to avoid residue buildup. Regular sweeping, vacuuming, or blowing out debris is recommended. Power washing with a circular surface cleaner may be used as needed, followed by squeegeeing excess water.

Cure Times by Topcoat
  • Standard Topcoat Walk on: 24 hours after we leave · Drive on: 48 hours
  • Extra-Slow Topcoat Walk on: 48 hours · Drive on: 72 hours · Produces a more seamless finish

Written notice, proof of purchase, and documentation of the claimed defect are required. Customers must retain their contract and paid invoice.
Limitation of Liability

Ozarks Concrete Coatings shall not be liable for incidental, consequential, or special damages, including loss of use, inconvenience, or damage to property other than the floor coating itself. This Warranty constitutes the sole and exclusive express warranty provided. To the extent permitted by law, all implied warranties are limited in duration to the term of this written Warranty.
